Easter Chocolate Skincare Recipes to Make At Home!

These easy-to-do and simple DIY recipes are absolutely delicious, not to mention beneficial for your skin. Just don’t be tempted to eat any of it!

 
Luscious Chocolate Lip Balm

Ingredients:

15g Shea Butter, 15g Mango Butter, 18g Castor Oil, 15g Apricot Kernel Oil, 12g Jojoba wax, 1g Organic Chocolate Aroma

To Make:
  1. Melt the wax in a bain-marie
  2. In another bowl mash up and blend the butters using an electric whisk
  3. Add in the melted wax and apricot kernel oil, and whisk again
  4. Add the chocolate aroma to the castor oil and stir well
  5. Pour the mix into the main bowl and whisk one final time
  6. Spoon into small pots

Lasts: 5-6 months

 
Triple Whipped Mint Choc Body Butter

Ingredients:

50g Shea Butter, 30g Cocoa Butter, 20g Coconut Oil, 5 Drops Peppermint Essential Oil, Teaspoon of Raw Cocoa Powder
 

To Make:

  1. Melt the cocoa butter in a bain-marie
  2. Take off the heat and add in the Shea Butter
  3. Cool slightly, then blend together with an electric whisker
  4. Add the coconut oil and whisk again, beating until blended and fluffy
  5. Add the peppermint and cocoa, and whisk one more time
  6. Spoon into a pot or several smaller ones as gifts

Lasts: 5-6 months


Mocha Sugar Body Scrub

Ingredients:

80g Brown Sugar, 10g Coconut Oil, 10g Sweet Almond Oil, 2g Organic Vanilla Extract, Teaspoon Raw Cocoa Powder, Teaspoon Coffee Powder, Pinch Cinnamon
 

To Make:

  1. Stir all the dry ingredients together in a bowl
  2. Whisk in the coconut oil (may need to be slightly heated)
  3. Whisk in the almond oil and mix thoroughly
  4. Spoon into pot and secure with airtight lid

Lasts: 3-4 months


White Chocolate Creamy Face Mask

Ingredients:

3 Squares White Chocolate, 1 Tablespoon Full Fat Yoghurt, 1 Teaspoon White Clay

 
To Make:

  1. Melt the white chocolate, take off the heat and cool slightly
  2. Mix in the yoghurt and white clay
  3. Use immediately, leave on for 10/15 minutes
