What is a Carrier Oil?
Carrier oils, also known as Base Oils, are natural oils that are extracted from vegetables, plants, nuts, or seeds that can be applied to the skin alone or mixed with butters, waxes, other carrier oils, or essential oils.
Why are Carrier Oils used with essential oils?
Carrier oils safely “carry” the essential oil into your skin and deliver nourishing effects at the same time.
