This Solid Conditioner base is specifically formulated using a natural emollient, and also contains shea butter and coconut oil which provide nourishment.

Shampoo and Conditioner bars continue to grow in popularity as an alternative to using regular products from a bottle. One of the reasons for this is that they can help us better control our product usage, as we often use more than we need when using regular shampoo or conditioner from a squeezy bottle. When using these regular products we tend to pour on whatever quantity we think is sufficient and use it all up, but shampoo and conditioner bars will lather up as you gradually apply them, allowing you the time to judge how much product you need more accurately!

As well as reducing wastage, this effect has further benefits for our hair as too much product can actually start removing the natural sebum our glands produce, which helps to protect and strengthen the hair and scalp.

They're also a great way to cut down on unnecessary plastics and reduce our carbon footprint, as they lend themselves better to alternative forms of packaging better than liquid shampoos and conditioners do - you can even go packaging-free if you want to!

Combine the above with the additional benefits of making your own products, knowing exactly what goes in to them by adding your favourite scents and oils, and this Solid Conditioner Base becomes something you wouldn't want to miss out on!
