What's Included?

Single Formulation Review - This service includes a detailed document that gives you suggestions for any replacements, reductions or increases, and turns your recipe into a scalable cosmetic formulation. The document lists every ingredient profile, IFRA's and suggestions for any replacements, reductions or increases. 

This will ensure efficacy, and safe levels within restrictions and guidelines. Suggestions are made to elevate the product formulation and cost/production practicalities are considered. It will also detail the Method of Manufacture (MOM) ensuring that your formulation is ready for cosmetic manufacturing anywhere you choose. 

Single CPSR - If you want to make and sell your own cosmetic products, a Cosmetic Safety Assessment Report (CPSR) is a legal requirement. This CPSR has been created specifically for small-scale producers, and are for both UK residents and European customers to sell in both the UK and Europe.

This assessment enables you to have a base recipe / formulation and 1 variant assessed and you can simply add variants to your assessment as you create them, within 6 months of purchasing the CPSR for an additional £40 (ex. VAT) per variant. This allows you more flexibility.

You could submit recipes for: Soaps (M&P or CP/HP), Bath Bombs, Bath Melts & Truffles, Bath & Body Oils, Body Lotions, Body Butters, Hair Products, Face Oils / Creams / Balms, Lip Balms, Beard Balms / Oils, Face & Body Scrubs, Face Masks and much more!

About our Assessor

These assessments are written by a qualified senior chemist with over 20 years' experience in analytical and environmental toxicology, microbiology and is an experienced research scientist. 

Our in-house Chemist has MSci Chemical Engineer, an SCS Diploma in Cosmetics Science as well as being a certified Safety Assessor for Cosmetics in the EU (2021). Vasilis is also a Member of the Society of Cosmetic Scientists UK.

How to Submit

Simply download a CPSR Form here and send to formulating@naturallybalmy.co.uk. Please also give your order number and mention you have bought the bundle.
