Saved my skin

This oil has truly saved my skin. I have been using tretinoin for a while, but this winter my face got so dry and nothing I used helped except this oil. It is a little miracle:)

Too Early to Tell

It's too early to tell if the Bakuchoil is working as intended. What I did was blend 5 ml of the oil into 100ml face cream to be applied at night in a 5% Bakuchoil cream. This is pretty high when compared to Retinol 1% used previously. According to research, however, it was found to be comparable in its effects to retinol at the .05% concentration. After a few weeks of application, my skin seems to be purging, just like with the retinol. However, not as terrible. This could be due to the higher percentage. Too early to tell, as it's suggested that changes start to show around a couple of months of use.

Regarding the product, it arrived in good condition, in an aluminium bottle which indicates the oil is protected from light. The consistency is thick, and the scent is robust but not bothersome. Overall, it is priced quite well considering how expensive it has become to source this oil in pure form due to more skincare brands catching onto a retinol alternative.
