Laurel essential oil has a woody, herbaceous and a slight eucalyptus aroma. The slightly sweet/spicy character is reminiscent of the smell of Tea Tree. It has clear menthol properties and will remind some of Airwaves Chewing Gum. It is classed as a top note and blends well with savoury, citrus, woody and earthy oils.
Laurel Leaf is known to relax muscles and may be effective for digestive issues like indigestion or upset stomach. It boasts antiseptic properties which may help for throat, tooth and gum infections. It's menthol like properties can aid decongestion and blocked sinuses.
Laurel leaf gives a warming effect if you are making "masculine type" personal fragrances or massage blends.
