Celebrating International Women's Day: Empowering Women Through Skincare

Today (8th March) is a special day for women everywhere. International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. It is a powerful movement committed to creating a world where all women feel empowered, valued and included (International Women’s Day, 2024).

Naturally Balmy is a female-owned business that was founded by our CEO, Jessica Smith, in 2008. After finding that products on the market weren’t helping her sensitive skin, she set out with a vision to make products to the highest quality that nourished and helped the skin. After creating her first line of lip balms, Jessica realised that there was a lack of suppliers with quality ingredients. This is when Jessica turned Naturally Balmy into a one-stop shop for quality skincare ingredients and the business has been growing ever since. Now, Naturally Balmy has a whole range of products and services to help everyone with their skincare journey.

At Naturally Balmy, our mission is to support and empower women (and men) through our skincare products and business opportunities. We provide pre-assessed products and safety assessments to help you kick-start your own ventures with confidence. Our goal is to instil confidence in both the products and the skin of our customers. We view skincare as a form of self-appreciation, and we aim to empower everyone who uses Naturally Balmy products to feel confident and empowered in their skincare journey.

This International Women’s Day, we're honouring the incredible women at Naturally Balmy. From our dedicated CEO, Jessica, whose relentless pursuit of excellence drives us forward, to our talented workers who craft and package each order with care in Dorset, and our loyal customers who trust us for quality ingredients and products. Together, we celebrate the strength, passion and achievements of women everywhere.

Happy International Women’s Day to all the amazing women out there!
