"Love & Glow" Rose & Vanilla Body Butter

This Valentine’s Day, treat yourself or someone you love to our luxurious “Love & Glow” Rose & Vanilla Body Butter. Crafted with natural butters and oils, and infused with romantic rose and warm vanilla, this indulgent formula will leave your skin soft, hydrated, and glowing.

Formulation

Phase A: Butters and Oils

  • Shea Butter (Organic) – 40%
    Deeply hydrating, nourishes and softens the skin.
  • Cocoa Butter (Organic) – 20%
    Adds richness and a subtle chocolatey note.
  • Sweet Almond Oil – 15%
    Lightweight, nourishing oil that leaves skin silky smooth.
  • Coconut Oil (Fractionated) – 10%
    Provides a luxurious glide and quick absorption.

Phase B: Fragrance and Active Ingredients

  • Rose Fragrance Oil – 0.5%
    Romantic and floral, perfect for Valentine’s Day.
  • Organic Vanilla Flavour Oil or Vanilla Fragrance Oil – 1%
    Adds a warm, sweet aroma.
  • Vitamin E (Tocopherol) – 0.5%
    Antioxidant to prolong shelf life and nourish the skin.

Phase C: Optional Additives

  • Mica Powder (Pink or Gold of your choice) – 1%
    Adds a subtle shimmer for a glowing finish.
  • Beetroot Powder Extract – 1%
    Natural pink tint with antioxidant properties.

Instructions

  1. Melt Phase A Ingredients:
    • Gently melt the shea butter, cocoa butter, almond oil, and coconut oil in a double boiler.
    • Stir until fully combined, then remove from heat.
  2. Cool and Whip:
    • Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature or slightly below.
    • Whip the mixture using a hand mixer or stand mixer until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate Phase B Ingredients:
    • Add the Flavour/Fragrance Oils and Vitamin E. Continue whipping to evenly distribute.
  4. Add Optional Additives:
    • Gently fold in Mica Powder or Beetroot Extract for a touch of shimmer or tint.
  5. Package:
    • Transfer to glass jars or tins. Use a rose-pink label to emphasize the Valentine’s Day theme.

Usage

  • Apply generously to the body for deep hydration and a glowing finish. Ideal for after-bath relaxation or a romantic self-care ritual.
