In-House Formulation Library
In addition to bespoke formulation, we maintain an extensive in-house formulation library developed and refined by our cosmetic scientists over many years.
Where a suitable base or close-match formula already exists, projects can often progress more quickly and cost-effectively than developing entirely from scratch — while still allowing for adaptation to meet your brand, brief, and regulatory requirements.

Bespoke Formulation
Our formulation service is led by an in-house cosmetic chemist with over 20 years’ industry experience, specialising in natural and organic formulations across skincare, personal care, aromatherapy, home fragrance, and specialist wellness products.
Formulation fees start from £750 + VAT per formula. Reduced fees may apply when:
-Using one of our existing cosmetic bases.
-Adapting a formula from our in-house formulation library
-Manufacturing 10,000 units or more
In some cases, formulation fees may be waived entirely where a suitable in-house formulation already exists.
All bespoke formulations remain the intellectual property of Naturally Balmy unless otherwise agreed. If full ownership is required, IP purchase fees start from £2,000 + VAT, granting exclusive rights to the formulation for your brand. IP options can be discussed during your enquiry.
