To legally sell a product, especially in Europe, it’s essential to confirm its stability. According to Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009, cosmetic products must demonstrate stability for at least 30 months. Accelerated stability testing allows formulations to be tested at higher temperatures over 12 weeks, simulating 30 months of real-time storage at 20c.
