This highly-concentrated, botanical Carrot CO2 Extract is well known for its antioxidant and rejuvenating properties.

This Carrot CO2 Extract nourishes, tightens and rejuvenates skin and contains natural healing properties. Packed with Beta-carotene, a powerful antioxidant, it is ideal to include in formulations for mature, dry skin.

It is also an ideal addition to sunscreen formulas, because it is reputed to protect from free radicals produced by UV radiation. Carotenoids, in particular, have been found to enhance the body’s immune response to UV rays, which can decrease skin damage from UV exposure.

 Carrot Seed also contains moisturising vitamin E and protective vitamin C, which work together to help encourage healing and rejuvenation of skin cells and bring new life to dull skin. In fact, carrot seed oil has a reputation for helping to heal eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis because of its ability to stimulate cell growth and repair damaged skin.

Extracted with CO₂ gas (Carbon Dioxide), this extract is made the purest and gentlest way, without the use of either heat or solvents. This extract is very concentrated as it is a full extraction, which includes the Essential Oil as well as the fat-soluble and water-soluble substances from the plants.

Stabilised with Rosemary Antioxidant, Organic Carrot CO2 Extract is a light yellow liquid oil with a light sweet carrot smell. 1kg of the Extract is equivalent to 6-9kg of carrot root. In Organic Jojoba Oil to make the extract pourable.

How To Use
Can be used in both water (not purely water-based products as it is oil-based and so will not mix) and oil-based products. 

Can also be added (without any heating required) to ready-made products such as gels, lotions, creams, shampoos, liquid soaps and body washes.
